plenty of puzzles and books
not quite rested

blizzard's eve-
scurring to markets
before the first flake fell

early morning -
chat with kitties in the kitchen
confessing furball envy

in the fourth watch-
kitty wants to play tag
with the moonbeams

sleep light night-
enjoying the moon's passing
through the room

weekend of rest
still fighting to rally
